Who handles your information

ManiCheck is responsible for personal information used to operate its storefront and serve its customers. This notice applies when you browse, order or contact us. Shopify also processes information to provide its platform and, for certain services, for its own purposes described in its Consumer Privacy Policy.

Information and sources

Depending on your interactions, we handle your name, contact details, delivery and billing addresses, order and payment status, customer-service correspondence, and preferences. The platform may process device and browser information, IP addresses, cookie identifiers and browsing activity. Information comes from you, your use of the site, and service providers involved in payment, delivery and support. Do not email full card details or sensitive personal information.

Purposes and legal grounds

We use information to take and fulfil orders, provide support and manage returns; this supports our contract with you or steps you request before purchase. Records may also be used to meet legal obligations. Security, fraud prevention and handling disputes may rely on legitimate interests where that basis applies, subject to your rights. Marketing and optional tracking require consent where the law requires it. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Sharing and international processing

Information needed to operate the service may be shared with Shopify, payment processors, fulfilment and delivery providers, technology and support providers, professional advisers and authorities where legally required. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose collected, order support, legal recordkeeping and resolving claims. Retention depends on record type and applicable obligations. We apply safeguards appropriate to the information and risk; no online service can promise absolute security.

Choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, restrictions on processing or object to certain uses. You may withdraw consent and opt out of marketing. Where applicable, you may opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising and appeal a refusal. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Shopify offers a separate privacy portal for its own processing.

Children, links and updates

The storefront is intended for adults. Contact us if a child has provided information that should be removed. External sites have their own privacy practices. We will date changes to this notice and give additional notice where required.
